Head of the South - Augusta, GA (2015) Liisa Ogburn · November 17, 2015 Three months ago, our family didn't know what a regatta was or which was the bow on a boat and which was the stern. We didn't know the difference between sculling and rowing and a "Head" versus a "sprint." We had never heard the shout "Power twenty" or "Indicate" or "Build by fives." I personally couldn't fathom why people would want to come together to willingly attempt one of the most physically demanding of sports, rowing. But now I get it. Maybe you will, too, after watching this short video time-lapse of the 36-hour trip to Head of the South in Augusta, GA yesterday with Triangle Rowing Club.
